Thanked: 1184A way around buyer protection ?
It seems to me sellers are getting pretty sneaky to try to separate some guys from their money. This razor actually looks like a deal you would jump on at first. A masonic razor in new condition. BUY before someone else does jeeeesh !!! Then I thought I would ask although I have lost some good deals waiting for an answer. Well, when I clicked on "Details about item" up pops the answers. It maybe hard to read in the picture but I will type it in for you.
- What is the condition of this item?
old97cutlery has listed this item as New. - Where was this item made?
old97cutlery : If the the auction dont say where its made its made in China like everything today is at a good price. - Was this item Made in USA?
old97cutlery : All our items that are made in USA will say so very clear in the auction so no need to ask.all others are imported. - Where do you ship from?
old97cutlery : We ship from right here in the USA.
It looks like this guy is getting tired of the same old questions. Most of his junk comes from China even though he does everything he can to make it appear like it is from the USA. I would love to flood his in box with dumb questions. This is almost as bad as when Japan renamed a city usa so they could fool everybody into thinking they were buying from home. Is it just me or is this a form of lying and stealing? Only a man of low moral character would sell like this. This is one of those things we allow to continue and then wonder why the world is so messed up. I know we don't bad mouth sellers and the list may be too long to post anyway. But this guy belongs on 1 and is in my book as a blocked seller.
This links ends but the seller won't I am sure.Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Thanked: 17I bought a razor listed as shave ready. Low enough price, was a project razor anyhow. Got the razor and it took hairs of my arm with no problem. However, he had used some kind of sanding belt to get an edge. There was no bevel, no clean, smooth hone marks on the shoulders. He found what would sell and used it.

You know the old saying, "Business is business".
No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Perhaps you can report this to ebay? It is a misleading advertisement, I hope they will take action on it.

Thanks to 10pups for posting this.
I am constantly amazed at how much effort people put into schemes, scams, etc. I would think doing business honestly would require less effort.
