Thanked: 9About $200. The things immaculate and checked with the seller that it was shave ready and he personally shaved with it. Will give it a whirl and then decide if its worth that amount for me. See quite a few very nice blades going under the hundred mark so it will have to be awesome to warrant owning one duck instead of 2 other good blades!

Thanked: 9Dubl Duck Golden Edge Straight Razor CUT Throat Knife Mother OF Pearl Vintage | eBay
Thats the listing not sure if it works. But the tang is in great nick with the blue and gold and the brasswork on the scales looks mint. Bit of light polishing and should look brilliant.

Thanked: 1263Going by the pics it looks like you did quite alright. It does look like new, and following them and seeing what most go for you almost stole it. Enjoy.

Thanked: 9Pretty much why i forgave my tablet instead of sending it through the window! Although i had planned on waiting a bit longer before getting a higher end expensive razor. Call it fate!

Nice Duck, very clean the gold etching is a little faded but the scales look good no cracks with nice color, there doesn't seem to be any pitting on the blade, the spine looks nice. I think you did good.
I have two Goldenedge Ducks 5/8 & 6/8 I bought them about a year ago for around $100 each. Mine needed a little work to get them shave ready. The one you bought seems to be in better shape. And I like the spike point. Both of mine are spike point, good shaversA man should only look in the mirror when he shaves.
