    Default Comments/Opinions On The Second Pic In This Link

    Wade & Butcher Straight Razor by ValleyShavingCo on Etsy Take a look at the tip... Is that flaked metal? If so, what would cause that? Damage to the heat treat?Thanks in advance for any/all information! Thought this could be a great example for discussion and to satisfy curiosity.Shawn-----

    I am not sure, but I think the point is there. I think there is a stain directly behind the area you think may be a chip. Based on the photos it causes a illusion that there is a chip/separation on the point. And then I may be 100% wrong.

    why don't you ask him. He usually has some nice looking stuff up, and reasonably priced. It looks good to me.....IMHO
