Only honed once, no longer NOS.

I should have put and on my first post in stead of or. I know NOS is without ever being honed. I know there is 1 NOS puma including shipping it's $78. There are a couple more ranging in price up to $115 that have only been sharpened (aka honed) between 1 and 5 times. Just trying to pass on the word about good deals especially since a razor goal of mine is to own at least 1 puma razor b4 I die n I know they are usually in the $300-$600 dollar range without catching any good deals. I Donno if they r still on there but I posted as soon as I saw them. And NOS is New Old Stock meaning someone bought a new razor and made sure it had oil on the blade and tang them put it away and has never touched it since (touched as far as honing stroping and/or shaving). Hope this info helps someone with a great experience and great razor.
Thank you,

The really great deal I saw was a puma for 78 bucks including shipping that is NOS. Again I don't know if they r still there because if I had the $78 it wouldn't have made it onto the forum I would have purchased it immediately.
Thank you,

I know some will say NOS and not be that's why is look into them with pretty great detail. But just trying to turn you other guys on to a good deal. And im not trying to be snippy or short either just explaining my side of the story and explain that I was posting as fast as possible to help out my fellow SRP members. Sorry if u guys missed out on the good NOS deal just wish that part of Ebay was more exclusive for us. <-Lol
Thank you,

No, not really. NOS has nothing to do with the physical condition of the mdse. It refers to the sales state. It's an item the retailer got but never sold or the factory misplaced and sold years later. So it's never been sold and is new but is old stock. You could have a piece which someone inherited from an old razor store and put away in a basement for 40 years and can be full of rust but as long as it's never been sold it's still NOS. Sometimes they sell items that have been used as loaners and sell that as NOS too however that is a stretch because it is used so really not new though if you play with definitions I guess you can try and get away with it.
