Default John Clarke & Son, Sheffield

Just won this a few minutes ago.
I shouldn't drink and bid, but there you go .
    I think USD$36.00 isn't too bad.
No measurements, but seems well over 5/8".
I always like top and bottom jimps !!

I have a Clarke that appears to be just like that one. It takes a very nice edge and is a great shaver. What something is worth is nothing more than what a willing buyer and a willing seller can agree upon and we don't make value judgements anyway.

That one has a bit of hone wear but it appears to be pretty even and should hone up nicely. Congratulations, that might become one of your favorites.

Well, I didn't but I dug it out and took a couple. Other than a slight difference in the shank grind just behind the shoulder, they could be sisters. Just plain jane razors but, as mentioned, they are great shavers. Now I'll have to put her back into the current rotation.
