    @Tack

    i know the feeling haha i stared at the Black Ebony Bismarck on the SRD site every single day for about a month or more while I was savingng up the money for it haha.... everyday just hoping it would still be in stock, I finally saved up the money to buy it and it was a course out of stock....

    haha fortunately it came back in stock about a week later and I bought it, I couldn't even wait... I paid the extra money for overnight shipping....AND ended up just driving over to the UPS facility to pick it up because I couldn't wait till the next day

    would this behavior be classified as RAD??? HAHAHAHA

    A familiar sounding situation! Good to know I'm not alone - it comforts the madness.

    I literally saved up 130 dollars in change (not because I couldn't afford one but i didn't want to spend my money on a new razor instead of a vintage one)... and after a coupon to knifecenter.com I was able to purchase one...

    I hate dovo's thick and clunky scales so I rescaled mine in horn with a solid brass wedge (already post the pics in customs but since Bismarck porn is here...) really something that means something to me now.... This will be my heirloom razor (along with my 1911 and my dad's Nikon f2) if I ever have kids

    Second time I drooled over it today and it's still a beauty. Seriously, that is a terrific job, you should be proud!

    Well I've been drooling over your palisander.... I'm thinking of buying one as a "daily driver" for my bismarck

    Edit: yup so the superior shave only had 6 left and apparently the palisander isn't made in huge qty so I HAD to buy one? Time to sell sell one of my other razors to pay for it... Gonna do this next one in black with aluminum wedge in the same shape

    That sounds like a good enough excuse to me; I'm convinced. I shaved with the #122 yesterday.. great shave. I think I like that less rounded point better than the one on the fancy 2 Bismarck. See, that's my excuse for having both. Perhaps I should get another of each and experiment further!
