Someone has had some NOS 4/8 Dorko blanks on eBay and not too long ago I saw scales similar to these from the same Seller... Wonder if it was someone looking for scales, saw something they liked and put 'em together?

Could be an old repair, using what was available. Looks like they didn't bother to match the metal of the pins/collars.
