Thumbs up Geneva Cutlery "Genco" Covered-Tang 5/8

I never, ever, make this kind of "fan-boi" posting, but shoot... this is the purtiest razor I've seen come down the 'pike in I can't remember how long. If my finances were different, I'd be all over it like plaid on a piper!

You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

I clicked on the listing above and it was removed due to an error!!

So I called him up and asked what happened, he just said he screwed something up in the listing and was going to re-list it later.

So he asked if I wanted to get together for a coffee and talk razors and I said sure and I asked him to bring along the blade in the listing.

So, guess your Birthday came early this year JB, when the Geneva Razor came home with me it asked me to get you to PM me your address, it hates Canadian winters, wants to come to Florida where it's warm and sunny, and be with someone who really likes it!

Hope you like it JB....will wait for your PM.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

It was no problem, glad to I could pay it forward a bit, and it will be good to see a nice blade like that go to a fellow SRP member...it really is a nice blade, he said he doesn't even think its ever been honed, it's literally in perfect condition. He asked me if I wanted him to hone the razor, and I told him not to, think JB will have that covered. PM'd JB, just waiting to get a shipping address and I'll send it off to sunnier climes tomorrow.

Hahaha! That's great! The first time we went to New York, and wondered out of the Port Authority Train station, there he was, Jackie Gleason, Ralph Kramden, lunchbox in hand, welcoming us to The Big Apple...he was one of a kind!
