Straight Razor for Barbers Use Around 35 mm Wide Maybe Wade Butcher | eBay
This is a pretty big razor. Could be intimidating to do the mustache with. You could hide half your face behind it.It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

Thanked: 1184That is a big one ! Funny thing. The seller lists it
"Selling a old wide razor as junk.
Around 35 mm wide.
Sold as it is."
It has 39 bids up to $355.00 and the reserve has not been met ? I wonder what the reserve would be like on (what he thought) was a Great razor :<0)Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Thanked: 4828this is the second time around for this one. I forget what the bids got to last time but the reserve wasn't met. I wonder how many time you can do that before nobody bids. There has to be diminishing returns. It amuses me that it is this high with no makers stamp.

You could get a 210 mm Deba for less & it would be just as hard to shave with.
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

It has an unnaturally rough look to me. Maybe someone who knows razors could confirm (or deny) this and say why. As far as reserve, nothing surprises me any more on the Bay. The less a seller knows about razors or hones, the more likely something will look like it is being seen in a funhouse mirror.
