Is this Really a Filarmonica??
Been here long enough to have seen some really nice Filly's, stunning razors, was just jumping around E-Bay checking them out, and this one kind of stood out as, "never seen one that looked like that", hmmmmmmmm?
Any opinions on this Filarmonica 7/8 Doble Temple, if that's what it is?

Thanked: 4942The late Ray Dupont picked up the last 400 of those going back a few years. They were heavy and the hardest of the Fil's to sharpen. OK shavers, but I freaked at the guys Buy it Now price for that one. Oh well......
Have fun

Thanked: 3228Yea, the blades may be spectacular but you have to get by the rather mundane scales.

Thanked: 3795I've still got one of those. The blades were just fine, but certainly not spectacular.

Thanked: 4828I have one too. The buy it now is pretty steep. It's not much different than my stamped ones.

I guess the peanut gallery didn't like my auction eh?
The razor sold for what it was worth which is a bit more than I paid for it which was the intention from the start.
And yes it's a very good shaver and a genuine Filly. No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Thanked: 4828it ended at a very awkward time for me. Didn't watch it, and as such didn't bid. Sadly I paid more for mine.
