Ah, that might be part of the difference. I always request that a razor be shipped without honing, that could be why they shipped so quickly. OTOH, "stuff" happens sometimes.

It is easy enough to give John a call if warranted. His phone number is under his "contact me" information. Straight razor maufacturing shortages affect John just like they do all suppliers. He is a good man who takes his business seriously. A long part of last year was difficult for John for several reasons.
