What's This??
Anyone got any opinions on this one? I've never seen anything like it before - is it a knife or a razor? Can't see much of a shank from the photos... It's a knife, right?

It's a knife. Puma and Boker made these as well, and probably nearly every other major knife manufacturer.

Even if you could put a decent shaving edge on it, it would be too difficult to handle.

they're not aimed at shaving .
they're designed for cutting things and for 'defensive work'
