hahaha, yeah right, I had it on my watch list and ended up out for the day, just checked to see where it was and my jaw dropped! great looking razor, but at that price I would not make it from the mailbox past my wife! I do hope the new owner enjoys it though.

Could you imagine paying that much for a razor and finding your kid sharpening his pencil with it, or your wife trying to open a box of something, or dropping that thing and chipping the blade? I couldn't pay that much for a straight. Not when there are so many other choices out there. More power to the winner. I hope it shaves him well!

Well, if your kid is sharpening pencils or your wife opening boxes with your razors, you haven't been using the strop correctly

Yeah, I know Zak, I've got I think two or three very unusual W&B's but that's it. As long as hype is not about the razors I want I don't really mind it
Now, I wish I had kept some more of the wade&butchers to list as ebay auctions instead of selling them for the regular prices that I thought they are worth. Could've financed a lot of good stuff.... But then I remember that I have more than enough cool razors I really like and if I have to be completely honest I don't really want more...

I really wish I knew his processes, these restores are mind blowing, I highly respect his work! Happy shaving to the new owner!

Sometimes I wonder if some of these guys are really great photographers on top of being good restorers. I'm sure that some great pics of a good restore would make it look like an incredible restore. Of course unless you are willing to pay the price to hold it in hand and check it over...

His photos are good and all his auctions are photographed the same. I have 2 of his razors and they are my best shavers pricey but good. He is the king right now.

I got these two Wade and butchers for about half the price of that single razor. One of which is a celebrated.

His razors often look too clean for me to be comfortable bidding on.
