    Default Dorco Shavette

I also posted this in the shavette forum. I have been shaving with a straight razor for a few weeks now and really like it. But I was thinking of getting a shavette for traveling.

I have seen a few Dorcos on ebay for very low prices and was wondering if it was worth it to get one, or if they are priced that low for a reason.

    Thanks!

Here is a link to one of them:

well, I switched from a shavette to a straight razor ~6 months ago, it was a delight shaving with the SR compared to the shavette en the SR not honed besides the factory honing proces.

short story, I personally will never use a shavette again

Well my plan is not to switch from SR to shavette, its just that if I'm traveling and not checking luggage I can't take a SR with me... so the compromise is shavette. Hence why I'm considering getting one, but not interested in spending a lot of money. But it is still a waste if the shavette body doesn't do its job
