Thanked: 270Classified vs. ebay razors
I have been helped a great deal by the shave ready razors that I have bought here in the Classifieds section the past four years. I don't care who makes them as long as they are quality instruments that are honed properly. That and the YouTube videos produced by members here have allowed me to learn how to straight shave and maintain a blade.
I purchased a couple of razors last week and thought you'd like to see the fantastic edges under 400x magnification:
I have deliberately withheld the identity of the razors and the sellers because I do not have any agenda other than to say that I have found SRP a much safer place for equipment and advice than ebay, especially for beginners.

I always say that microscopes are skeery! THAT looks smooth as a cat! The finest edges can look like crap under a scope. 5X for me!

I rest my case.
