    Wow that's a beautiful set

How do CVH models rank in regards to desirability or shave-ability (ie Mk29, 31, 32, framebacks etc)? I have a 7 day set in frameback/ivory, but with the english mon-sun on the spine. Didn't pay as much as these are going for though.
It's nice to be important, but more important to be nice

Mk31's are a fantastic shaver but the MK32 and Mk33 and even the Mk134's would be most desirable especially if Ivory or even better in genuine Tortoise. I would expect that price on the bigger blades in Tortoise.

A few years back there was a 4 blade box set of tortoise Heljes on the bay. Seller was asking $400 and they didn't sell. Out of Georgia IIRC. Couple years ago a 7 day set of ivory scaled Heljes went for just north of $500. I wanted it but couldn't spend the $ at the time. Figured it would go for way more but that is show biz.

I think that is a crazy price. But there are some collectors out there with deep pockets. There was a 7 day MK31 set in ivory that was in pretty nice shape that sold on the bay a few months ago for just north of $700 I think.
