I especially like when Ebay sellers, such as this one, neglect a proper description with the statement, "Please see pictures for details." I suppose they assume such a statement is going to magically replace what most people will think: "Here we have an absolute atrocity that was once what appears to be a straight razor. Now it's good for spreading butter or removing bugs from your windshield." When a seller bypasses a good description, his/her level on my trust-o-meter goes way down.

Thanked: 480It had never occurred to me that somebody would put flame to a razor. But yes, a buffer can most certainly create this sort of heat damage. Even if that were not the case for this particular razor, buffer heating is a very real thing.
