Thanked: 49eBay app delayed?
So I went to bid on a barbers' hone in the last 4-5 seconds like usual and after I bid it said the auction had already ended. Lost by 50 cents. This was my first time using the eBay app to place a last second bid. I've done it plenty of times on the desktop site. Anyone else experience this?

Some apps are better than others and your connection also factors in to this. There have been times I've waited like that and my connection just seems to hang a couple of seconds.

I use the eBay app (Android version) all the time, and the only times I've encountered a problem have been when my connection hiccuped.

Thanked: 1587I reckon if that's what you want to do then the safest way to bid at the last second is to use sniping software really.

I found that bidding on my phone there is a couple second difference from the ending time and the bidding time.
