I didn't have the nerve to send an offer on this blade of $13.75 for fear of it actually being accepted for this Wade and Butcher, even though the cracked blade and hacked apart tip was quite compelling. Here's a pic of the crack, the listing has the others pics...you can buy it now for....$500.00!!!

Oh, yes. Yes indeed, I like a challenge!
Horn scales are pretty easy to care for. They polish with Mothers or Maas or Flitz or whatever polishing compound you've got, then you can just wipe'em down with a little mineral oil or neetsfoot oil from time to time. 500 bucks for a cracked blade,.... if that thing sells I'm going to charge rediculous prices for my blades and go on holidays :P
