Wow, some crazy bidding there. What's more, this wasn't the work of two bidders going at each other, but rather, there were 4 bidders placing bids above $500.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Does it cook and do dishes?

Lot of $$ for a piece of celluloid shaped like a salamander. Seems to me it should have a 'Roo on it.

So I know I am going to regret asking but I just can't help myself. Why would you even buy underwear in the first place lol?

I remember seeing one with extremely fancy scales(atleast that was the description) that was BIN $10,000 and yes that is 4 zeros. I think it sold too. Scale collectors will pay alot of money for rare scales. There are some scales where they only made a couple of them. If they are going to cost me what I could use as a down payment on a house I will stay away. This link has some nice looking scales. STRAIGHT RAZOR FANCY Here is a set that sold for $15,000.

But I too am curious... why buy underwear, maybe unless you like to wear pants more than once before washing and have something against toilet paper
