Did the seller really say it was a trick of the light.... if so he may need glasses and maybe a bigger flashlight

Yup! I wrote the seller (silly me) suggesting that it might be a good idea to, uh, "adjust" the description, thereby avoiding the possibility of a disgruntled buyer. And that's the reply I got.
But it didn't matter. No one bid on it, anyway!

That must be at least the second go around for that thing. The seller is in denial or being sarcastic with his reply. It might make a nice decor piece if it was framed and cheap enough.

It's been reposted for another week...still no mention of the crack, but it's now, "...in fair condition."

The vendor has relisted once more, but has lowered the price and included mention of the crack in the description.
