Default Lone Ranger had a nice collection

I've noticed lately there seems to be a collection of razors authenticated to be the lone rangers. Things look legit. When I saw the first one I almost bid but still not completely sure if its authentic. I am a skeptic. Now that there seems to have been several come along I think wow. Lone ranger had a real nice collection. OR someone is playing this to the end. I did some online searching to no avail trying to find some info on if LR actual was a str8 users. So a question for the historians in here, was he or does anyone know if these are legit? If so that's a cool piece of history.

Which Lone Ranger? Clayton Moore or the actor that filled in for Clayton for a short spell?

There was someone hawking several of them a few years ago. I would have thought the Lone Ranger's RAD would have ended after his funeral.

If you search his feedback, you will see that the Lone Ranger apparently had an amazingly large collection of razors, knives, comic books, and whatever else he could find to flip on eBay.

I've ranged few times alone (well with a gun), so I am technically a bona-fide lone ranger. I've got all kinds of authentic LR stuff for sale - from a nice set of half burned matchstick & a well chewed hand made toothpick, to a bridge in brooklyn (and elsewhere in the country too)....

Yes. Bought one, nice, price, if I remember, was reasonable. Believe that it was his lawyer, selling them for his widow. Have it and the paperwork put away. Came with a letter authenticating it, a canceled check with his signature, picture(?).

Yes....for years this seller has taken this fairly obscure "Z" list celeb's supposed personal collection of straights. They have never brought very much money in any auction that I have seen ended. They are just a pain to scroll past as I surf the Shaving section from time to time. Quite a prolific collection...I never bothered to check "other items" for sale by seller id associated with it...I guess EVERYTHING this seller offers has a connection to this obscure masked man.

IIRC there was a listing years ago that claimed to be Jesse James (circa 1880s) sraight razor. Pretty sure it was a spurious claim. Anyway ..... I'm waiting to see what Tonto had in his collection.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
