Fedex-hmm
Anyone notice Fedex changed their operating procedure? They do not ring bells or knock anymore. They just leave the parcel and run. I noticed that a month or so ago and thought it was just that driver but it seems they all do it now. I guess when they save 5 seconds per stop it's that many more deliveries they can make.

UPS used to ring the bell, but now usually leave it on the porch and go. May have something to do with the high volume of packages delivered to my place. Between Amazon.com and auction sites, it's a fairly steady stream.
The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.

Around here the UPS guy toots the horn as he is pulling up, hollers UPS !!! and drops it off, unless he needs a signature. Fed-Ex is in stealth mode. Silent but efficient. USPS still knocks around here.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 177Stealth deliveries can be a good thing, you can intercept them before the SWMBO even realizes you spend a couple hundred on that. Lol

Thanked: 44My Fed-ex guy does not even come down my driveway. He parks on the street run down the hill and dumps it over my fence. I have watched him from my shop.
UPS brings treats for my dogs, brings it to my shop if I am there and if he has time will BS about cars for a little.
Even the USPS comes down the drive and honsAmateurs built the ark. Professionals built the Titanic!

I'd be willing to bet it's all about the individual and how he or she handles the demands of the job and management.
