It doesn't look too bad at all. The blade looks like it has a fair amount of oxidation, and a couple of rust spots, but it'll probably clean up very well. I wouldn't consider it to be in perfect condition at all, however. It doesn't seem like there's excessive hone wear or uneven bevel. I don't think it'd be unreasonable to ask the seller to send a couple of pictures to you, though. The pins look like they might have some heavy oxidation by the green ring around them. The scales look to be bone with no splits or cracks. I'd say it's in good condition overall. If it were me, I'd take the scales off and clean up the blade including the pivot and replace the pins. I certainly wouldn't want to bid on it if the price got above $30-35. The following is just my opinion: I know that dubl ducks are highly sought after, but I just feel it's not in great enough condition to spend a huge price for it when razors in better condition can be had that are equal to the dubl ducks, like the Little Valley Cutlery razors or English razors.

I hope I didn't outbid any forum members, I didn't see the ebay ID in the ebay names thread.

Ended up getting that. I barely got in the highest bid with a few seconds left. I will not be honing it myself.

Haha, don't worry about outbidding other members on eBay. I'm sure some people have more than their fair share of nice razors. Are you sending it off to Lynn Abrams?

PS You got it with its original leather case and wrappers! How cool is that?

Yes, I will be sending it out alright.
Lynn, indeed. And heck, he endorsed it on his dvd, it doesn't get any more appropriate.
