By "this", I mean all the vendors who photograph razors artistically posed with their delicate edges propped up on hones, geodes, granite counter tops, and other similarly unyielding and/or abrasive materials.

Hopefully, they are as proficient with their hones as they are with their cameras.
I remember one guy who posted a photo of the razor cutting a piece of note paper to demonstrate the keeness. That sort of flipped my gut. :ziplip:
No that's a manly razor,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,:rofl2:
It bugs me! Esp as on the edge of a hone! I always say "GET THAT OFF THERE!" out loud and my wife comes running in! :D
I get frustrated by backgrounds, white backgrounds make it hard to see details as the blade sort of blends in, and patterned backgrounds make detail hard to see as well, i dont know what is best but i would have thought a plain matte mid shade colour like blue would work well
I'm keeping my mouth shut on this one.
You must avoid SOFTD then ?
This should push you over the edge then :<0)
It's not honed yet and, no cheese was harmed in the shot.
