Am I the only one bothered by this?
By "this", I mean all the vendors who photograph razors artistically posed with their delicate edges propped up on hones, geodes, granite counter tops, and other similarly unyielding and/or abrasive materials.
It makes me want to scream! When you are dead, you don't know that you are dead. It's difficult only for the others.
It's the same when you are stupid.

I remember one guy who posted a photo of the razor cutting a piece of note paper to demonstrate the keeness. That sort of flipped my gut.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

It bugs me! Esp as on the edge of a hone! I always say "GET THAT OFF THERE!" out loud and my wife comes running in!
"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

I get frustrated by backgrounds, white backgrounds make it hard to see details as the blade sort of blends in, and patterned backgrounds make detail hard to see as well, i dont know what is best but i would have thought a plain matte mid shade colour like blue would work well

I'm keeping my mouth shut on this one.

It's not honed yet and, no cheese was harmed in the shot.
This happens when you come in from the shop hungry.Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.
