I had seriously considered bidding on it but it would have been out of place in my ragtag collection.

All my razors, hones, strops, brushs will be sent to one SRP member ( a great friend)

Hate kicking ebay back 10% of the sale price
I would have put it on the SRP classified but I've used up the number of items we're allowed to list some time ago. Unless that's changed?

It arrived today, as gorgeous as it is online. I'll take good care of it while I have it. ...as others here have been so nice to point out that "I can't take it with me". :-(

Though I will likely put an edge on it and take it to my face.

Anyway, nice blade, nice shipping ChrisL. The metal wedge was a nice and unexpected surprise too.

Excellent. I've very glad to see an SRPer bought my razor! Yes, I forgot to mention the lead spacer in the auction listing.

Send me a PM and let me know how it shaves.

    Enjoy.

The Torrey with the scale lock is going too, Jimmy. I haven't seen any other razors with that feature.
    Thanks guys.

Just out of curiosity what is your limit for classifieds? Is it an overall number or do they break it down ie razor, hones, misc.?
Razor rich, but money poor. I should have diversified into Eschers!

I've seen one other in the past 7 years and it had replacement scales without the lock. Chris's was the only one I've seen original.
