Default NOS genuine linen hose barber strops. Never used!

I've listed the only two New Old Stock genuine linen hose barber strops I have in my collection. Each in its own auction:

    Ebay auction #: 131229125386

    Ebay auction #:
    131229134748

I have two others that I have not listed since they've been used and have diamond spray on them. I don't' know if there would be a demand for those since they are not in new condition so I have not yet decided if I'm going to list those. If I do I will post here.

    Hose or horse?

I would have followed the links but my phone wants me to call the link... Sigh.

Go directly to ebay and type the #s into the search box. They are two auctions for strop linens from back when they were the heavier pro barber strop stuff. I don't think they are making that anymore ? What I find interesting is that they are identical, except for the "maker's" mark on the end. So they were probably made by a complany that printed various logos on the ends, depending on who they were marketing them to.

Correct. They are linen hose (not horse). I've always thought if someone could could legally recreate that "Certifyd" makers mark exactly as shown in entirety on a T-Shirt, I'd be the first in line to buy one. I love that slogan: "Will Beat 'Em All Like Certified Checks"

Sounds like there might be a market for that for an enterprising soul. Get 'em made up Chris, I need mine in large with a breast pocket.

Not my area of expertise, Jimmy, but I figured I wouldn't be the only one that would like a T-shirt with such a makers mark. If there was some way to reproduce it crisply in black on a white T? Sign me up! The: "Will Beat 'Em All Like Certified Checks" slogan harkens back to days when slogans were cool.

Take a good picture of it and then take the picture to a T-shirt screen printing shop. See what they'd charge to make a run of 'em.

As good a deal as they are the shipping price to Australia takes it out of my reach.
    Thanks for sharing these
