Thanked: 254 Razors in 1 weekend..oops!
Well, I worked a double shift on Friday and spent a lot of it on Ebay! Between Friday and today, I have bid on/bought 4 razors on Ebay.
These 3 from CT, which is where I live! I have a Landers, Frary and Clark razor from CT and a Challenge razor, which shaves awesomely, so I have been on the hunt for more Challenge and CT razors in general lately.

And this one, looked in decent shape. I have a Gottlieb Hammesfahr from my Great Uncle, so I figured I would try another one from Germany!

Eyeing a 5th razor currently, but I gotta see what it ends up as. It's kinda fun looking on Ebay to see what I can find!
I haven't really used EBAY before now, but I am hooked!

Rookie. Five in a weekend wouldn't even give my fingers a workout They all look to be in usable condition and should shave well. If you are happy with the price you bought them for then you done good. You are hooked now and there is no turning back, the RAD has got you and there is no cure.

Thanked: 25HAH! Yeah, I just started wet shaving like a month or so ago. Tried a few SR's, did OK, but really struggled with the neck, so I picked up a DE and have been using that for the past 3 weeks or so. DE has been going well, so I stuck with that over the past weeks, getting used to the pre shave prep, lathering, skin stretching, etc. I have done a handful of SR shaves in the past few weeks (usually on a day off or after a few days off with thicker beard) and they have been getting better, but I am still working on the SR shaves while acquiring more razors!

I give this advice to all the new shavers, find a mentor in your area. If you will be a tad more specific about your location in your profile it makes it easier to locate one near you. A good mentor one on one will be immensely beneficial to you.

Thanked: 25I am in East Hampton, CT near Middletown. I put a post in the Honing section about people in CT, but didn't get any responses. There is a Meet Up in New York in August, but I do not think I can get the day off

It may take some time. I found one member but his last post was in 2010 although, he did start this A Welcoming!
