I picked up Freddy R a while back like the one you just bought.
It had issues.
Turned out to be a nice razor. Lost a bit of blade, but still does well.

Well here it is. Came in yesterday.
This is the worst of the damage.
My thoughts are to hone it up as is for now and maybe when I can get my hands on a brass tumbler I might give the blade a spin and address the scales at that time.RezDog likes this.*Insert deep thought/profound statement here*

Honed the FR yesterday and shaved with it this morning. Absolutely amazing. It was my first wedge hone and shave and I am extremely pleased.
