Thanked: 884Ebay question
IF I want to sell some stuff on ebay, and I want said stuff's auction to end on a Sunday evening, do I start the auction on Sunday evening or Monday evening.

you can choose when you want it to start (either immediately or on a specified time) so i believe if you start it on sunday it will end on sunday if you choose a 7 day auction. if your not sure when your done creating your listing and hit preview listing it will say when it's going to end.

A little hint on selling on eBay. If you are LOOKING for a bargain shop on late Saturday and all day Sunday. Seems there is less competition. If you are HOPING to get the most for your item list it to end Wednesday or Thursday late afternoon or mid evening and offer free shipping if you think it;s worth while to do so. Almost all of my better bargains in straight razors have een bought on Sundays.
Just a thought."The sharpening stones from time to time provide officers with gasoline."

Thanked: 884Thanks for the quick answers. Haven't sold anything on ebay in a lot of years. Used to sell a butt load of scooter parts and related biker crap. Seemed that Sunday night was always the hot night for selling back then.
No razors this go around. Got some pocket knives that I'm peddling for new computer $$. My 8 year old P4 war horse is getting tired.
Scored an interesting one myself. Wasn't on ebay though.

Ebay is 7 days by default, like phrank said, if you want to change to 10 days, 30 days, list a specific date and time to start, you can do that too. AFAIC Sunday night around 8PM central time is the optimum for selling stuff. After dinner, most folks are home, and dad is at the computer. YMMV.
NIce score for you two BTW ..... the razors I mean.Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 480I have found the exact opposite to be true. Phranks version of a "steal" or a "score" are very very different from mine.
ME = I found a nice razor for under 20 bucks with free shipping
Phrank = I found a W&B 9/8 FBU for under 300 plus shipping.
The greatest number of razors are listed to end on a Sunday. I have scored all my best "steals" during the week, at odd hours of the day.
