Thanked: 634Not sure. If you look closely towards the edge, either the tape is loose or the edge is all chipped or rusted. For me this is a no sale.

Aw, come on fellas. You know for every huckster out there there's a pigeon waiting to be plucked. A man has to make a living you know. I remember reading an article a long, long time ago of an interview with an old man who admitted to being scammed and stripped of his money several times a year for years. In essence he said he knew what was going on and it was a combination of enjoying seeing the various tricks used to get his money and flattered by the attention.
But on the other hand someone should ask for photos of the blade untapped. That'll get it de-listed in a hurry if there are blade problems."The sharpening stones from time to time provide officers with gasoline."

You'd be foolish to pay that price for that blade. That's for sure.

If you want $395 and aren't even showing the blade clearly, you're hiding something. It would be worth the gamble at $3.95 but no more. Less than adequate photos can be forgiven for $20 or under. After that, show me the goods.

Thanked: 433The tang looks rusty under the words I think. Stay a mile away from that one (at least I would). I would only pay $10 for that one only for the scales and if it is rot $0

WTF with the tape on the blade? Surely nobody's dumb enough to BIN on this one!

Well, you do stand to save some money if you hone using tape. That's a plus!
