    I liked ebay better when they charged an appreciable amount for BIN auctions. People didn't list things at stupid prices for very long when they did that, because it cost you a fair bit of coin every time you had to renew your listings.

    It's across ebay that the low or no cost BIN strategy really sucks. There are a bunch of vintage tool sellers who buy stuff and list it more or less just waiting for idiots who are new to the game and who don't do a little research on prices. If they have 3000 things listed on auto rotate and only sell two a day or two a week, they don't seem to care.
