    Only one way to do this - have a very correct description. The work overhead compared to setting up the listing in the first place is very little. Another possibility for misunderstanding is the actual measurement - the edge side is clear (unless it has chips/oxidation and the razor is for use) but the spine is fuzzy - is it to the top of the spine, to the hone line, in the second case hone wear cold make this even more ambiguous. Then the width can vary along the blade...

    I think ebay is already forcing the sellers to cover the return shipping for items not as described, so you have to be thinking in terms of winning a dispute on ebay to exclude buyer remorse without reason.

    Also, the big picture is that that's just part of buying and selling stuff - there are all kinds of people and the same person could behave very differently on different days.
