Thread: Just won my first razor

Guys,
I've been wanting to get into the whole straight razor world for a while now and I finally made the plunge and won an auction. I think I got quite a deal. I won a wonderedge that the seller claims is in "beautiful" condition for $61! The dudes got 100% feedback and a money back gaurantee, so I went for it. Check out item #170094844548 for photos, any comments are welcome. I dont think it's shave ready, so I'm going to send it to Classicshaving's sharpening service. Sorry for the long post, Im just a little excited. Thanks for listening to my rant.

Well, it looks to me like the claim of "wonderful" is a little overblown. It has clearly seen many years of use. the good news is that the steel is top quality and should provide you with an excellent shaving experience. Welcome to the fold.
