Please mind : stolen MOP & gold pair of razors
Good evening everyone.
I allow myself to post a thread here, because a friend of mine saw a pair of razors in mother of pearl and gold stolen (or "lost") by La Poste in France.
If by any chance you'd see those on an auction website or whatever, please let me know.
The razors may easily be recognized :
Thanks for your help.

Thanked: 154Many thanks Thaeris.
Humble (and therefore quiet about it hitherto) owner here.
You can contact me if you have any information. I may even throw a gift or even buy them back (I bought them because of sheer love at first sight).Beautiful is important, but when all is said and done, you will always be faithful to a good shaver while a bad one may detter you from ever trying again. Judge with your skin, not your eyes.

What a shame. Since it was the postal service there may be hope. I mailed a box of 5 Julius Vesz tobacco pipes to Italy from the USA once. Got lost and 3 months later it showed up in my mailbox. Sent them out again and they reached their destination. I hope this works out for you and your beautiful razors come home to you.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

It's hard for me to even comment about this. My heart sank in my chest when I saw this post. Que Dieu répondra à vos prières!

Those are easily recognizable indeed. And pretty high end.
That said, all is not lost yet. I have had a package take a long, long time to arrive to Glen, while other packages to the same address usually only took a week. In the end they arrived. And I've also had a package return to me after more than a month in postal limbo.
In any case best of luck and if I see them I'll let you know. They are easy enough to recongnize. The only 2 like that I have ever seen.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

I saw these razors on the auction site where you must have won them: Necessaire de voyage cadeau pour l'ambassadeur d'Espagne Don Antonio Y crespi de Valldaura, comte de Peralda
My post was a joke at the time 8/11/14, but these works of art if they in the wrong hands.....this is not funny at all. I hope you can recover them as they are indeed museum quality."Call me Ishmael"
