Gee Fella's, I have a couple of Dorko's, I actually liked the look of that much maligned razor. Did anyone consider what it's edge was like and how it may shave like? Unimportant apparently.

I own a razor that's missing its stabiliser. I can hone it & I can shave with it. But because it's so flexible I doubt a lot of other people could so I never cosidered selling it.

I don't really care what the edge is like or how well it shaves, having said that Ron's honed it so it should shave real nice. But i have to like the style of razor as well among other things before i would consider buying it and that razor your referring to just isn't my thing , that's all. I bought a nice Dorko from him earlier this year and i love it , real nice shaver ill buy another one day.

Last word on the much maligned, Dorko 15/16. I have conferred with the vendor Ron Spencer, a person, I have full confidence in. I received a full explanation for the modifications, and the state of the razor. You may notice gents, it's no longer on the auction site....

Well Bobby, I'm really very impressed that you got to the bottom of this particular razors history, I'll sleep well tonight knowing you've achieved that. And Ron probably doesn't need a sprukier either, his eBay feedback speaks volumes for his integrity. By the way the only person to call this razor maligned was you.

Well Micky, your probably right old son, but it might have caused the bids to be small....lol....I love the banter, lets not go to the honing section, the thread could go on forever. I'm glad you'll get some decent shut eye, got to love it. I do, have a number of disorders, which mitigate my manic posts..

    Cheers mate.

IIRC there were no bids with one day to go & then the sale was pulled. If my post helped with that I don't feel bad.
I don't care who you are or how well you can hone, you don't sell 2/3 of a razor for 3/3 of a price IMHO.

It's all good Bob, I can see your passionate about razors just like me . All the best and good shaving my friend. And I need some sleep , to many late nights looking at razor related stuff on the net.

Some of the cryptic replies here seem to imply that the razor is no longer in Rons possession either

I'm going to need a bigger bathroom
