Last week I left a pretty high bid on a Dubl Duck Satinedge as did at least one other member here. We were both outbid on this one. Today I got an e-mail offering that same razor to me but not via the eBay system. I questioned the "seller" and he said if I was interested he would forward all info to eBay. That's simply not how a second chance works.

I did contact the real seller and as thought, he had never offered the razor as the first deal went through just fine.

So.....if you get a second chance offer from a Robert Simons, for pricey razors you have bid on, be warned. Robert was obviously not the original seller.

This is exactly why eBay started the "bidder 1", "bidder 2" thing so outsiders could not contact bidders with fake offers.
