eBay Warning, Second Chance Offer
Last week I left a pretty high bid on a Dubl Duck Satinedge as did at least one other member here. We were both outbid on this one. Today I got an e-mail offering that same razor to me but not via the eBay system. I questioned the "seller" and he said if I was interested he would forward all info to eBay. That's simply not how a second chance works.
I did contact the real seller and as thought, he had never offered the razor as the first deal went through just fine.
So.....if you get a second chance offer from a Robert Simons, for pricey razors you have bid on, be warned. Robert was obviously not the original seller.
This is exactly why eBay started the "bidder 1", "bidder 2" thing so outsiders could not contact bidders with fake offers.

Thanked: 0Sheesh, another classic example of "caveat emptor." I guess it really does pay to check twice on things with Ebay.

the boker red injun's NOS get them as well
I got a similar one after i had lost out on one of the Bokers from the "collectorgroup", where kentiv got his, it was for half the final price, i knew a fellow member had outbid me and was himself outbid, so i asked if he got one and he had not. then i contacted the sellere and they claimed to not have sent out any second chance offers on the razor. i believed them as since they can get 150+ for a razor why offer it to me for 75.
The email i did get looked just like an ebay second chance offering except that the sellers email was not a link. it cam to my regular email and not to my ebay messages area. in the past i have gotten second chance offers sent to both locations.Be just and fear not.

In Belgium, a toque is what is called a 'cup' or 'jock strap?' in english.
As to the second chance offers: mails like those automatically get classified along with the mails telling me that I can collect my lottery money or that I can be of assistance in a money transfer from an African nation.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

A toque is a winter hat, a necessity here in Canada. Their shapes change from time to time. When the rap counterculture was into them, they were a bit higher, now they're hugging the shape of the skull.. Here's what they look like: http://andsewon-embroidery.com/toques.htm
