Default Cattaraugus Green Lizard 7 Day Set for sale on eBay

I found this Cattaraugus Green Lizard 7 Day Set for sale on eBay. It is over priced because the razors are close but all don't match exactly due to blade configuration but it is still nice to see. It has a very nice box it comes in (but altered badly) & also comes with two hones & two extra razors that are Green lizards but don't match the rest of the set.
The white razor says Master on the left of the lizard & Wedge to the right of it. Price is $1,599.00 or best offer. IMHO I think the green lizard on top of the antique shave box was cut out, painted green & glued to the vintage shave box & that the set was put together to make a very large profit! I have a very nice vintage late 1800's shave box like that & I wouldn't have ruined a vintage item like that. You can tell that even the razor separators were added to it. Overpriced for a set that is close to matching! Here's the eBay link:

That lizard on top of the box is hideous. I can't help but agree that I wouldn't spend that kind of money. The box is most intriguing, minus the lizard of course.

They can be great shavers and is from a great company but the price is out of line. Even if it were a 100% matched set in super condition I wouldn't pay that. The brand just doesn't have the pizazz to warrant the price. Now if it were a set of Goldedges-har har.

Don't you think they ruined a very nice vintage shave box by doing that just to try to make a large profit? I love the Green Lizards but not that much!

It's a damn shame that someone took a beautiful vintage shave box like that and degraded it with that lizard glued to the top of it!
And just to try & make a very large profit from it. They will never get that price for it..................at least I say so but if they do, it will be some dummy that has more money than he knows what to do with.
