I'm sorry, but I'm not going to let them rain on Ilija's parade!

It's a cool razor, in pretty good shape, at a rock-bottom price.......

.....plus he got to snipe it from a fellow board member!

All-in-all, I'd call that a pretty good day!

Congrats, Ilija...but just remember, in the immortal words of Khan...

Revenge is a dish best served COLD!

Lou, had I known you were going for it, I would have given you my final bid price. It's not that I NEED another in my rotation, but I saw this one an hour before closing, sitting at $3, liked certain peculiarities not found in my regular rotation so I decided to put in a snipe bid. However, I was fairly sure that SOME members would have been trying to snipe this puppy as well lol.

Even though I generally agree with you on this, if I see an SRP member hanging around an auction, I give him my final price.

It arrived. It's a bit greasy, might need to be re-pinned and there is some discoloration that worries me, but we'll see once I get my hands on it.

Ilija - was going to say that I thought it seemed to have some undesirable spots when I first saw it but didn't want to "rain on your parade" Hopefully it wouldn't be much of a challenge

    Cheers

I would have thought that was from fire damage, but the scales are intact.. We'll see what the felt pad and the polishing compound will do and then how the Norton will react to it.

Ask not how your hone reacts to your razor, ask instead how your razor reacts to your hone.

Have some mercy on a poor soul who survived a week of incredible, monotonous drudgery
