Looks good, there is no guarantee of course, but no visible issues so the odds are in your favor.
It'll likely be noticeably lighter than your current razor too.

Thanked: 0Razor has arrived, its all in one piece and in good condition. The only thing I can see in person that I did not see in the pictures is that there is some very minor pitting near the spine on one side of the razor. Minor as in something that you can't even feel when you run your hand over it, and its only like two little pitts. Little bit of tarnish around the pivot, but its not even rust, just dulled. Only things that caught me off guard was its size, pretty sure its a 4/8's, was smaller then I was expecting. Scales are also a little lose, if you pick it up wrong the blade will glide out of the scales and become exposed. Also definitely needs to be honed, its duller then the dovo I just sent to SRD. Now off to the hones.

Right where I was
You are right where I was a few months ago - new razor with one honing as a Christmas gift - afraid to send off without a spare, not wealthy enough to blow everything on a backup! So, instead of taking chances on ebay, I opted for a site-unseen from Whipped Dog for about $30 or $35. At any rate, Whipped Dog was exactly what I needed. Instead blew the remaining $$ on a Norton 4K/8K, and wasn't afraid to use it on the site-unseen. Now I can refresh either razor on it whenever I want, and it also affords me the chance to try my hand at bone scales for the site-unseen when I get around to it. Good luck with your honing. If at first you don't succeed, try try again.
If I told you I was a liar, would you believe me?
