I bought an unuseable razor on the bay
so this fellow obviously saw me coming. he had a pic of a razoup and it looked nice and i won it. after it got here the razor i got has tiny chips in the blade rust and the scales were broken on one side, not the side that was in the pic i might add... so on his listing it said good shape bid with confidenct winner will be supremely satisfied... well I was not. straight to the pc i went and for the first time ever i clicked thet negative button and a not poped up saying i couldnot post a negative for 7 days . is this normal?

Yes, it is normal. They want you to work with the seller first and if that doesn't work out, it is a bit of a cooling off period.

Thanked: 634If a seller does not show the blade and scales both sides I don't bid. It usually means they are hiding something. Another warning is when the pictures are not great and description reads "see pictures for best description".

Thanked: 3228Yes, it is always a good idea to contact the seller first to try and resolve the issue to everyone's satisfaction first. Good luck resolving the issue. Not being smart with that comment it is just that I have had good luck resolving a few issues with sellers in the past.

Buying from pictures is not ideal. I usually ask for more just to have them do it so I can judge the razor better. If they are unwilling to post more, I am unwilling to bid.

Sorry no. I do believe some people are very fast to leave a bad review for products because they have not done thorough research. I know I have been bummed many times on eBay for a variety of items but the seller did nothing to mislead me, I mislead myself.
I am sorry I came off cold. If the seller truely duped you then eBay is very protective of buyers. Contact the seller and resolve the issue.Last edited by JTmke; 02-15-2015 at 04:44 PM.
