Yes, I also believe that's the problem - the decrease in the business mail with the increase of the cheaper and faster electronic communications. I've been viewing all of the mail that I still get as far more inconvenient than receiving it electronically, but for certain type the government still requires that the communication is done by mail. For example, any type of medical record I have not been able to obtain via electronic means, and some are impossible to get even over the phone.

You probably get more packaging services from all of the internet shopping, but there UPS and Fedex seem to have the market for any medium and big business through good volume discounts. They've been doing this as primary business for many years while USPS considered it secondary. Also you can't ship alcohol via USPS - a tiny market but it may be representative of restrictions that make them harder to compete with UPS/FedEx.

I have no problem with customs or international shipping costs. I order form SRD.

Yea me neither, I usually now order from online stores that ship from a Canadian location if at all possible.
