Default Albert Bros Balts? on eBay

Haven't seen this name before and it isn't in the library. Anyone familiar with the brand?

Doesn't look familiar, but thought I would give you a bump.
May your lather be moist and slick, the sweep of your razor sure, and your edge always keen!

It has some ugly wear and deep pitting. Even if it was a top brand and well known I would have to wonder if it would be worth working on. It looks like a candidate for a regrind.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Not only is that really uneven wear and a lot of pitting, but it's been worked on by a person I don't know of, and that always makes me wary.

Please note: I am not saying that person is not good a restoring razors, I just don't know and I don't gamble on that. If it were a blade I were interested in, I would look into the seller/restorer. But I'm not, so I won't.

I agree the blade is pretty rough, but I was curious about its' background. Haven't seen any others with Balts on the blade.
