No wonder you're keeping them indoors - with that wrong hook and hanging cross I would be ashamed to hang them on the porch as well :)
You need to upgrade the hook to the fifteen dollar one from the OP and bolt/peen four blades at the tang holes for the hanging cross.
Well, TBH, the bungee hook was temporary at our meet last year. This set went home with Spazola!
I had thought about using blades in that manner, but drilling all the holes necessary for the strings would be tough. I tried cell and horn scales before and they just drooped eventually.
The cheap metal scales would never droop. Anyway, always developing the wind chimes! Thanks for the 'pointers', Gugi! :rofl2: They sure sound pretty as the wind blows! Each blade has it's own sound.
Someday I will finish my Razor Clock:)
