    This IS a blade that would require a narrow hone.

    No wonder you're keeping them indoors - with that wrong hook and hanging cross I would be ashamed to hang them on the porch as well

    You need to upgrade the hook to the fifteen dollar one from the OP and bolt/peen four blades at the tang holes for the hanging cross.

    Well, TBH, the bungee hook was temporary at our meet last year. This set went home with Spazola!
    I had thought about using blades in that manner, but drilling all the holes necessary for the strings would be tough. I tried cell and horn scales before and they just drooped eventually.
    The cheap metal scales would never droop. Anyway, always developing the wind chimes! Thanks for the 'pointers', Gugi! They sure sound pretty as the wind blows! Each blade has it's own sound.
