As far as I can tell yes. I TPTed one spot mid blade and it grabbed with a quickness. Going to a meet in Tomah, and I want to see how others dial them in.
So I rewrapped my new razor, didnt even wipe the factory grease off of it. I bought another TI and have been shaving with its factory edge for 6 months. Waiting for a meet to get schooled on how to best dial one in. Hardest steel that I have yet to come across.
Seems to get sharper as I use it. Better thought is that I am stropping better with more strokes and that is the culprit of my success. And I dont have the guts to dull the edge and bring it back is also the truth.Your only as good as your last hone job.

Ah, I have to wait. Mine is back ordered. Say they will email when received and ready to ship. At this price definitely worth the wait. But I hate when companies take a back order without telling you up front.

Thanked: 7I'm looking now. The 6/8 is 94 and the 5/8 is 177. I wonder why the 5/8'is so much more expensive. I guess that's what most people want. Supply and demand. You guys are killing me. I have 5/8 Dovo and a 7/8 RA. I could use a 6/8 for my collection but thought I was done for a while. Hmmm. What to do

Thanked: 7Who ever gets there's first. You have to let us know how good it is, and if it's really shave ready

Once in a while a razor will show up with a ready-to-go edge right out of the box. I received a RA and a Boker like that some time back. Many high end "Artisan " razors are also fine right from the get go.. Most though require some tuning. I will most probably work on the new TI with either a coticule or a 5k, 8k, 12k Naniwa SS progression. Should have mine tomorrow.. Depending how I like it, I see my TI 1937 Special Coiffure half hollow going on the block sooner than later.
