A nice 13/16" Sprock
I saw this and thought it might make a good first or second razor for someone.
Nothing fancy, not outrageously expensive, just needs a bit of a clean and sent to one of our honemeisters.
I'm not affiliated with this vendor in any way, I just think it's a nice blade

Thanked: 169Sprocks were ground by ERN if I recall so the geometry should be fastidious to an ocd level

Boy that thing is clean. I love very simple razors.

That would be a great razor for anyone no matter how many you got! If I had the money I would snag it up. One of my first was a sprock and it was easy to hone and was very sharp. Sold it because I didn't know any better.
What a curse be a dull razor; what a prideful comfort a sharp one

[EDIT]
I noticed an older post by Neil Miller where he argues that these were made by G. Sprock rather than Friedrich Ern.Last edited by Pithor; 04-11-2015 at 07:23 AM. Reason: Additional information, courtesy of google
