    Default A Really Rare Duck!

I would have bid way higher if it had not such bad cell rot. But as it was, this is a duck I had never even heard of let alone seen, so I tried for it. It would have been so cool to have a pair of Ducks.... Silk and Satin!

I'm not sure I believe when the description says sharp and ready for shaving.

It went to a good home I am SURE :<0) It will have a few friends to keep it company I hear.

Buy the way, anybody got a hone that works on a hack saw blade ?
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

You will get to see how it turns out. Going to go clear with this piece. Probably just kill the edge and display only. Will be the first time I do that but, you saw it :<0) I am not hoping for a miracle but you never know until it's in your hand.

I say if you don't mind a thin blade, you could get it shaving again, though never very pretty. If its a 5/8 now, might be a 4/8 More likely a 9/16 now.

Has any of you other guys ever heard about a Silk? it was a total surprise to me. And I like the way so many of us knew about this, but didn't mention it on the boards. Way to keep the price down!

And I'm sorry I made you pay as much as you did. If I had known I would have left you at 12 bucks

I was scared that someone else would get it so I threw a bid out also.
